  For a hotel that's 146 years old what on earth has happened. The atmosphere is open and has a resort styled gazebo layout over several levels. The bar (which twice served dirty glasses) was understocked and was running out of alcohol. New staff where obviously under trained, and older existing staff where either too busy polishing wine glasses or over worked and tired.
  
  We had a set menu, which consisted of dry garlic bread starter, followed by a choice of three, being a 300gm steak, chicken or barramundi. I chose the barra, which turned to being a 1/3 of a fish with a butter sized dish of token salads and dry potato styled chips. The Chefs selection of one (being a Chocolate shell in the shape of heart filled with a Chocolate moose was good. But not being a choice was rather sad.
  
  For $40, it was not the best. Just to put the icing on the cake, staff burrowed their way clearing tables whist we where eating, and where constantly badgering if we have Finished.
  
  The original licensee from 1863, "Charles Baker" would be very unhappy.

  Majority of menu is great, steak however, doesn't come out how you ordered it!

  How you'd imagine pub food... with restaurant prices. Do yourself a favour and drive further up to Warrigal Square for much better food choices.
